A search conducted at the house of Tejero Barangay Councilman Jessielou Cadungog is ongoing amid reports that the police filed for a search warrant on the official’s house.
The search was reportedly conducted on the request of the Cadungog family to the barangay officials of Tejero. Two barangay councilors in Tejero were present during the search.
One of Cadungog’s children told Cebu Daily News that they heard that a search warrant was filed by the police.
“Nahadlok mi nga planteran among balay (We are afraid that something will be planted in our house),” said one of Cadungog’s children who requested anonymity.
Cadungog was tagged as primary suspect in the death of PO3 Alcuin Calumba on Monday morning, July 30,
Calumba was shot dead after he allegedly fired at Cadungog’s vehicle.
