Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza and Coco Martin’s first look for MMFF entry

THINGS are in full swing for Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2018 fim, “Jack Em Popoy: The PulisCredibles.”

A photo of the movie’s lead stars Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza, and Coco Martin was shared online during their look test after the story conference last Saturday at Novotel Manila Araneta Center in Quezon City.

“Eto na ang tunay na bts! #PulisCredibles,” a photo shared by @JackEmPopoy2018 on Twitter stated.

The three stars, who are working together on one MMFF entry for the first time, are shown wearing their police uniforms.

The movie will be under CCM Film

Productions, MZET Productions, and APT Entertainment Inc.

A video shared by APT Entertainment Inc., showed the lead stars talking about their preparations for the movie.

Sotto is doing workouts.

“Pag dating sa action and stunts sanay na rin ako kasi nga ‘yung sa Enteng Kabisote. You really have to be fit. I’m back to the gym,” Sotto said.

He headlined previous MMFF entries like “Meant To Beh” (2017), “Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers (2016), “My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore” (2015), and “My Big Bossing’s Adventure” (2014).

This is Mendoza’s first time to do action scenes in a movie.

Aside from workouts, she is also undergoing firing lessons.

“Yun naman kailangan, sabi ni Boss, you have to be fit,” Mendoza said.

“Jack Em Popoy: The PulisCredibles” is her second MMFF film after “My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore” in 2015 which also starred Sotto, Ai-AI Delas Alas, and Alden Richards.

Martin assured viewers that the film will be worth watching.

“Alam naman po natin na medyo mahirap ang buhay na minsan ang mga Pilipino talaga nanonood nalang ng pelikula pag pasko kasi yun yung time para mag bonding,” Martin said.

He said the film will be filled with comedy, action, romance, drama, and will also be family-oriented.

Other stars in the film are Arjo Atayde, Ryza Cenon, Ronaldo Valdez, Tirso Cruz, Sebastian Benedict “Baste” Arumpac, Cherry Pie Picache, Mark Lapid, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros.
