Netizens were vocal in their reactions to news about the challenge posed by Supt. Royina Garma, Cebu City police chief, to Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña to prove his claim that those behind the series of killings in Cebu are protected by police.
Fred Riveral Rosel wrote, “Have they solved or show interest any of the many riding in tandem killings? If not, that might tell us something?”
Salvador Boie Sano Contreras said, “If the PNP can’t get these riding in tandem killers how much more the mayor. But the incident involving a councilor of Tejero brings out a lot of questions, including the PNP reaction w/c is outrageous.”
Rey Pino commented, “Madam sulbara ang riding in tandem aron ma prove sad nimo nga dli police ang mga killers…”
While Antonio Torres said, “Prove it Tommy Osmeña.”
