Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña would like to see the autopsy report of SPO1 Roderick Balili.
In a press conference, Osmeña said he is unconvinced that Balili died of accidental firing.
He also questioned the heightened security at the hospital where Balili was confined before he died.
The mayor disclosed that he received reports of Balili being shot three times, contrary to official reports that he was shot twice.
“No one can shoot themselves two times,” said Osmeña.
The mayor said that the police are making themselves ‘enemies of Cebu’. Osmeña challenged police authorities to sue him for libel.
“Let them sue me for libel. I will answer it. I challenge the general (Sinas) to produce the car. They are in the position to cover up everything. You can get slugs of the body and match it with the pistol of the PDEA agent,” the mayor added. /Delta Dyrecka Letigio, USJ-R Journalism Intern.
