Five arrested in Lapu buy-bust op

Five drug personalities were arrested by a drug enforcement unit in separate buy-bust operations in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu on Tuesday (August 14).

Police arrested Ramil Sabella, 45; Ruel Garro, 43; and Rosilyn Paunil, 41, in an operation conducted at Sitio Mustang in Barangay Pusok at past 1 a.m.

Confiscated from them were one medium and 22 small packs of suspected shabu with an estimated worth of P45,076.

In another operation, police arrested Vigyl Borces, 41, and Roger Bargamento, 43, who are also residents of Sitio Mustang, Barangay Pusok, at around 2:30 a.m.

Authorities confiscated 18 small sachets of suspected shabu from their possession. The confiscated shabu has an estimated worth of P8,500.
