AFTER winning Miss Hannah’s Tourism Ambassador 2018 last May, Kylah Kristianne Yve Sanchez is taking her dreams higher by joining this year’s Miss World Philippines pageant.
“I just want to equip myself with great experiences so that when I’ll join Binibining Cebu next year, I am already ready,” said Sanchez.
The 18-year-old beauty who will represent the Municipality of Compostela, won Miss Hannah’s Tourism Ambassador 2018 title during the Miss Hannah’s Ecotourism Philippines 2018 pageant held in Resorts World Manila in Pasay.
Sanchez is senior high school student at the University of Cebu.
Before joining national pageants, she already collected several titles including Miss Grand Chinatown 2018, Panagtagbo Festival Queen 2018 in Mandaue City, Miss UC Basic Education 2017, Miss Surfing Lanuza-Surigao 2017, Miss Yati Liloan 2017, Miss Tabogon Ecotourism 2017, and Miss Kalunasan 2017.
For the Miss World Philippines pageant, she is being helped by her handlers Herbie Jumar and Noel Inez for her preparations.
She is also reading a lot of materials to keep herself updated on current issues to prepare her for her training for the pageant’s question and answer segment.
Last year, Cynthia Thomalla, who represented Cebu, was crowned as Miss Eco Philippines at the Miss World Philippines pageant.
In April, Thomalla represented the country in Egypt and became the first Filipina to win the Miss Eco International crown.
Miss World Philippines 2017 crown was won by Laura Lehmann. The other winners were Reina Hispanoamercana 2017 Teresita “Winwyn” Marquez, and Miss Multinational 2017 Sophia Senoron.
This year’s coronation night will be on October 7 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena (MOA) in Pasay.
