A 20-year-old woman was arrested by the personnel of the Cebu City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) and Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) in Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City this morning (Aug. 28) for illegal possession of drugs.
The woman was identified as Lyka Alejo, 20, a native of Masbate Province.
Authorities seized a total of P1.2 million worth of illegal drugs from Alejo.
The arrest of three other men who yielded P6 million worth of suspected shabu on Monday evening led to the arrest of Alejo.
Alejo is currently detained at the jail facilities of Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) pending the filing of charges against her.
