Motorists advised to avoid flooded streets in Cebu City

Knee-deep rainwater flooded various streets in Cebu City at noontime today (August 30) following a 30-minute rainfall.

The Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) is asking motorists to avoid flooded roads to ensure their safety.

The transportation office recorded flooding along M. J. Cueno Avenue and Colon Street in downtown Cebu City, and Bontores Street in Barangay Basak.

Flooding was also reported at Fuente Osmeña Circle, Nasipit in Barangay Talamban, and near a mall at the North Reclamation Area.
