One was injured while another was arrested in two anti-drug operations in Cebu City on Tuesday afternoon.

Police also confiscated 255 grams of suspected shabu estimated to cost around P3 million.

Elements of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and the Provincial and City Intelligence Branches arrested Stephen Ceniza, 39, in a condominium unit located in Banawa, Barangay Guadalupe in Cebu City at around 2p.m today.

The operating team confiscated packs of shabu worth at least P8,000 and the P8,000 marked money from the suspect’s possession.

Senior Insp. Alejandro Batobalonos, PDEU head, said they later coordinated with the Carbon Police Station for a follow-up operation in Barangay Pasil, which was the source of the shabu that Ceniza was peddling.

Batobalonos said that Ceniza led them to the whereabouts of his supplier who was identified as a certain John Bruce Makilang.

Makilang, 24, was arrested in his residence in Sitio Lawis in Barangay Pasil.

He is said to be a native of Barangay Banakon, Getafe town in Bohol province.

Batobalonos said that Makilang sustained a bullet wound on the buttocks after he resisted arrest.

Makilang was brought to the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) where he is now recuperating.
Police recovered two big packs of shabu and the P120,000 buy-bust money from Makilang’s possession.

Ceniza is now at the PIB office while police prepare appropriate charges against him.
