Rapper Mac Miller dies aged 26

Rapper Mac Miller died on Friday of apparent overdose, TMZ reported.

San Fernando local authorities found the singer in a bedroom at his house in San Fernando Valley, LA, California and were pronounced dead on the spot.

Miller had battled substance abuse for years, an issue that came up again in the wake of his breakup with singer Ariana Grande.

TMZ reported that the rapper wrecked his G-Wagon and was arrested for DUI and hit and run.

After his arrest, Ariana tweeted, “Please take care of yourself”.

After their breakup, Grande made it cleat that Miller’s substance abuse had been a deal breaker in their two-year relationship.

Grande was also blamed by netizens for Miller’s DUI incident, to which she responded: “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be. I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years.”

Miller was supposed to start his tour next month after releasing his latest album “Swimming”.
