QUEEN of All Media Kris Aquino clarified that she is not part of GMA Network’s upcoming comedy series, “Daddy’s Gurl.”

Aquino issued the clarification on her Instagram account as a reaction to a post by Kapuso Philippines’ Facebook page last September 23 stating that she will topbill the project together with Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza, and Wally Bayola.

“I am reacting to this post forwarded to me by some friends to clarify: the MZET produced show starring Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza, and Wally Bayola was never offered to me. I AM NOT PART OF THE CAST,” part of her statement reads.

Aquino video clip also included a text message conversation with the series’ director Chris

Martinez, where she asked him about the project’s complete cast.

The screenshot of the text messages ended with Martinez telling Aquino, “Gusto mo mag guest?

Lika na! Haha.”

Martinez worked with Aquino in 2006. He and Chito Roño wrote the horror film, “Sukob” headlined by Aquino and Claudine Barretto.

In her statement, Aquino thanked M-Zet Productions including Sotto, Michael Tuviera, and Orly Ilacad.

In 2013, Aquino’s son Bimby had his first film, “My Little Bossings” with Sotto and Ryzza Mae Dizon. It was produced by M-Zet Productions and was part of the Metro Manila Film Festival.

She also thanked Mendoza in her post, saying that the actress-host was her first Facebook live and unscripted guest when she started her digital project in 2016.

Aquino and Mendoza’s Facebook live became a top trending video online.

“All of them have been angels who generously contributed to my professional growth. And I wish them success for GMA Network’s Daddy’s Gurl,” she ended her statement.
