Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino’s film earns P43M in two days

FANS of Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino showed the real-life exes a lot of love, as their film “Exes Baggage” is making a killing at the box office.

The movie—which tells the story of former lovers Nix (Aquino) and Pia (Panganiban)—has P43,791,249.86 in two days since it opened last September 26.

The first day earnings was pegged at P21,637,015.11.

Panganiban shared the official figures on her Instagram account on Thursday.

“Jowa? Cuddle tayo sa couch?” she said.

Fellow actors led by Judy Ann Santos and Angel Locsin congratulated Panganiban on the film’s success.

Dan Villegas, the film’s director expressed his gratitude also through an Instagram post “Maraming maraming salamat po,” Villegas said.

He was congratulated by Bela Padilla and Christine Babao, among others.

“Exes Baggage” is Panganiban and Aquino’s first movie together under Black Sheep, a new production company under ABS-CBN Films.

Black Sheep also thanked their followers through an Instagram story.

“Thank you for unpacking the feelings with us, Sheepmates!” the post reads.
