THE UNBEATEN streak of the Dreamscape Lions ran up to nine games after they blitzed the Shearwater Health Crusaders, 95-73, in the Evo League division of the 2018 Tanduay Athletics E-Leagues for Basketball last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu.
Muscular forward Ralph Belarmino imposed his will against any and all defenders as he tallied 27 points and 11 rebounds to go with three steals before getting ejected in the third canto after incurring two technical fouls.
Jake Cainday also had a double-double outing with 14 points, 10 boards as well as five assists and four steals.
Also emerging with a win last weekend were the The Results Manila Spartans, who clobbered the CTC-BPO Panthers, 85-45.
The win was the Spartans’ fifth in seven games. Four players scored in double-figures for a Results team that has now won four in a row.
The Cognizant Tech Solutions Gladiators also authored a 75-53 rout of the Streamline Kangaroos, for their third win of the season.
