USPF girls volley team to bank on ‘Three Ds’ in semis

DEFENDING champions University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Baby Panthers will continue to lean on the “Three Ds”— discipline, determination and dedication — as they open their semifinal campaign against the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (Cesafi) Girls Volleyball today at the USPF covered court.

The Baby Panthers used the Three Ds in ending the elimination at the top with a 6-1 win-loss record.

According to Rizarri Yolanda, USPF Girls Volleyball head coach, they will be banking more on the Three Ds, especially now that they will be starting their semifinals campaign.

They had the same card with the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Baby Jaguars but the latter dropped to second because they lost to the defending champions during the eliminations.

USJ-R will face the University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors, who are ranked third with a 5-2 slate, in the other semis pair in the second game.
