Lycans and CompMan remain undefeated

 

The Lycans and CompMan kept their immaculate winning runs going with contrasting victories in the Duterte Cup basketball tournament last Sunday at the Capitol Parish gym.

The defending champions Lycans made mincemeat out of the Knights, 78-62, to boost their win-loss record to 4-0 in Bracket A.

Nogie Saga and Ranel Cortes were unstoppable in that game, tallying 23 and 20 points, respectively.

CompMan, on the other hand, got past JTR, 74-72, to also hike their record up to 4-0 in Bracket B.

Mark Monte led the team with 19 points.

In other games, Sherilin Plastic blew away the iKustomz, 63-49, behind the 24 points of former University of San Carlos guard Jabby Bautista while Paragsa also won over the CPPO, 72-67, with former Letran guard Franz Dysam scoring 19 markers. Paragsa and Sherilin each have 3-1 cards.

The SAGBAF also edged Penthel, 49-45, with former University of Southern Philippines Foundation big man Mil Linao and Raymund Jimenez canning 14 and 13 points, respectively. The win improved SAGBAF’s standing to 3-1.
