Trailer for ‘The Girl in the Orange Dress’ released

THE FIRST trailer of Jericho Rosales and Jessy Mendiola’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, “The Girl in The Orange Dress” has been released.

The one-minute video was shared by the movie’s producer Quantum Films’ on its Instagram page last Oct. 26.

“His right timing. Her perfect moment. He remembers. She forgot. How will they find their we?” the post reads.

The trailer opens with Mendiola, who is fresh from the bathroom and is checking her closet from where she picks an orange dress.

As she tries to zip up the back of her dress, Rosales comes in.

“You need help?” he asks.

Mendiola nods and Rosales helps her zip her dress up.

She then faces Rosales and gives him a kiss.

“Paano ba ako napunta dito?” she asks Rosales.

He answers, “Hindi mo ba naaalala?”

“The Girl in The Orange Dress” is written and directed by Jay Abello.

The movie is co-produced by Quantum Films, Star Cinema, and MJM Productions.

In 2015, Rosales headlined the MMFF entry, “Walang Forever” with Jennylyn Mercado, where both won the festival’s top acting awards. The actor also topbilled last year’s award-winning entry, ”Siargao” with Erich Gonzales and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

”The Girl in The Orange Dress” is Mendiola’s first MMFF entry. Her last big screen project was ”Extra Service” in 2017 with Arci Muñoz and Coleen Garcia.
