Police: Sharp objects, liquor prohibited in cemeteries

Around 2,000 people have flocked the Carreta Cemetery as of 10 a.m. on Thursday (November 1).

“All is well and everything is normal. Wala pay nagpabadlong,” said Police Senior Inspector Greg Ybiernas, deputy chief of the Fuente police station.

Ybiernas reminded the public to avoid bringing sharp object. He also asked the public to follow the liquor ban in cemeteries.

“Gisugo nako ang mga pulis nga simhuton tanang liquido kay ang uban ibalhin ang Tanduay sa sudlanan sa coke,” Ybiernas said.

Meanwhile, a team of the Philippine Red Cross deployed in Carreta Cemetery has recorded nine cases of hypertension.
