Police arrested the top 3 most wanted person in Alcoy town while in hiding in Barangay Suba, Danao City at past 6 p.m. today (November 1).
Jomar Antig, 23, has a pending warrant of arrest for rape which is a criminal offense in violation of Sec. 5 paragraph (b) of Republic Act 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law.
No bail is recommended for the temporary liberty of Antig, a resident of Sitio Alang-Alang, Barangay Daanlungsod, Alcoy town.
Joint elements from the Danao City and the Alcoy Municipal Police Stations and the Criminal Investigation Detection group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) enforced Antig’s arrest based on the warrant issued by Acting Judge Francis Rainer Navarrete of the Regional Trial Court Branch 26 in Argao town.
