SHERILIN Plastics put on an incredible offensive display and ended up registering the league record for most points scored in a single ballgame in their 144-74 demolition of the Phantom Troupe in the Metro Cebu Basketball League last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu.
Ralph Belarmino exploded for 47 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals as he led the onslaught for the team of businessman Richard Mercado. Jason Chan was almost perfect from the field, shooting 15-of-16 for 31 points. Albertnan Potencioso added 21 markers, Joevince Canizares almost had a triple-double with 13 points, 22 boards and eight assists while Brian Gabasa put up 12 in the wholly one-sided match.
Sherilin remained unbeaten with a 7-0 (win-loss) record in Group E.
In other games, the El Pistoleros bested the Eccentric Force, 99-66; the Roadstar Piranhas defeated the TUF IT Park, 82-67; the Petra-Tradesmen trounced the Alpha x Nis Assemble, 85-69; the Huskies demolished the D’Hoops, 112-79 while the Gemini Shipping Lines downed the Admirals, 111-83.
