THE ARCHITECTS + Engineers Basketball Club Davies Paints Cup 2018 is all set to roll out today at the University of San Carlos gym.
Six teams composed of architects and engineers will be vying for the title.
The competing teams will bear the names of different products of the Davies brand, namely Mondo, Liquid-Tile, Sun & Rain, Powerfloor, Bio-Fresh and Megacryl.
The tournament is intended to be an avenue for architects and engineers to take a break from their professions and showcase their skills on the hardcourt, as well as forge camaraderie amongst one another.
The league’s major sponsor is Davies Paints Philippines.
It is also being backed by Kohler, Daikin Airconditioning, Trimar Const. & Trading, and Phoenix Bldg. System Corp.
The tournament was launched in a press conference last Thursday that was graced by club president, Jun Villacorta, vice-president for operations Josephril Partosa, team captains of the different teams and representatives from Davies Paints.
