China’s ‘most beautiful criminal’ wanted by police

She may have a beautiful face, but little do people know that she can be dangerous.

A woman in China, allegedly part of a criminal gang, is wanted for scamming money from customers in tea houses and bars, reported South China Morning Post on Monday, November 26.

The gang targeted drunk people.

Police in Mianyang City in the Sichuan province released a “wanted” poster of the woman, identified as Qingchen Jingjing.

A copy of the poster was uploaded on the China Police (@cnpoliceofficer) Twitter account on Saturday, November 25.

But instead of being feared, Chinese netizens were struck with Qingchen’s good looks, earning her the moniker “China’s most beautiful criminal,” as per various reports.

The Weibo account of the police department even commented, “Being beautiful is not your problem, but using your looks to commit illegal crimes is not right.”

Police started the investigation when a man complained he had been scammed for thousands of yuan at a bar in the city.

It is not known what specific amount the man lost.

Two members of her gang have surrendered.

However, Qingchen is still on the loose, the report cited The Beijing News.

In June 2014, 30-year-old Jeremy Meeks, arrested in California on felony weapon charges, became the apple of the eye of some women.
