Ervin John Conahap scored on a baseline jumper with 1.1 seconds left to carry the defending champions Lycans to a scintillating 73-71 win over Paragsa Consultancy in Game 2 of the Duterte Basketball League Season 5 finals last Sunday at the Capitol Parish Gym.
The victory knotted the series up at 1-1 with the deciding Game Three to be played this Sunday, December 16, at 6 p.m. at the same venue.
Former University of San Carlos standout Sam Hermosa led the Lycans with 28 points while Barok Ceniza added 10 markers.
Paragsa was gunning for the crown after their dominant Game One victory but it was not meant to be in spite of the 23 markers of former Letran Knight Franz Dysam. Junrey Hoybia put up 13 points.
