REGULAR and casual Capitol employees will each receive P25,000 as part of their Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentive on or after Dec. 15.
This came after the Provincial Board approved on its third and final reading last Monday the ordinance for the fourth supplemental budget worth P104 million.
Capitol’s budget officer Danilo Rodas said about P43 million will be allocated for the P25,000 CNA incentive for each of the over 1,000 regular and 700 casual employees of the provincial government.
Last November, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) announced that government employees will receive a cash bonus through the CNA incentive that won’t exceed P25,000.
Rodas said the CNA is based on the collated savings of the Capitol’s departments.
The release date for the CNA is in compliance with DBM guidelines.
“It’s up to the treasurer’s office when to release the cash incentive. They can agree with the bank to credit the amount on Saturday, December 15, or to wait next week,” Rodas said.
While they won’t receive a cash incentive, job order employees who account for more than half of the Capitol work force will each be given one 50-kilogram bag of rice.
