GMA Network reveals lineup of teleseryes for February 2019

Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto

GMA Network is all set to give its viewers something fresh and new in February 2019.

A one-minute, 30-second teaser video was released by GMA Network on its YouTube channel last December 20.

“A new year means new shows to look forward to. Get ready to be enthralled by the newest primetime offerings of GMA. Discover the purpose of their journey. Be inspired by their courage to fight for what they stand for. And experience their pursuit for happiness and love,” the caption reads.

Part of the lineup is the comeback of the tandem of Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix, known to their fans as BiGuel. The series is titled, “Sahaya.”

The trailer shows Tanfelix’s character looking at Umali’s character, who plays a Badjao girl.

“Saan man ako mapadpad, hinding hindi ko malilimutan kung saan ako nagmula,” Umali says as she swims off.

As she reaches the bottom of the sea, she stops and sees Migo Aldecer.

This is the return of BiGuel after their top-rating series, “Kambal Karibal” in 2017.

The second teaser to be shown is that of “TODA One I Love,” topbilled by Ruru Madrid and Kylie Padilla.

It shows Madrid facing Victor Neri and Gladys Reyes with their personal bodyguards.

Padilla suddenly enters the scene riding a pedicab. She catches Madrid’s attention and they hold hands.

“Para sa bayan,” Padilla says.

“Para sa pag-ibig,” Madrid answers.

“TODA One I Love” is the comeback of KyRu love team after the “Encantadia” remake in 2016.

Another teleserye to watch out for is “Kara Mia,” which stars Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto.

The series talks about a girl with two faces, played by Forteza and Mika dela Cruz.

“Kara Mia” is also a reunion project of Forteza, dela Cruz, and Roberto after 2017’s top-rating TV series, “Meant To Be.”
