THE LYCANS established themselves as the best recreational basketball team in Cebu City after they capped off a finals sweep of Rollway with a commanding 137-90 victory in Game 4 of the Rollway League last weekend at the Magallanes Gym in Lapu-Lapu City.
Fresh off their conquest of LM Paragsa Consultancy in the Duterte Basketball League the other weekend, the Lycans of team owner and multi-sport athlete Dondon Aropo kept their winning streak going and punctuated the 4-0 finals sweep with the massive 47-point win.
Even with most of their players shifting their focus to duathlon and triathlon, the Lycans remain in a class of their own and claimed the championship behind solid performances from former Cesafi standout Fritz Dajalos and veteran guard Barok Ceniza.
The Lycans came away with the cash prize of P60,000.
