The news about the Barangay Canduman priest who was arrested for hitting a 15-year-old drew mixed reactions from netizens, although most of them were outraged.
Raphius Francois Ampoon wrote in the comment section, “Undang uie giguba lang nmo ang imahe sa simbahan that’s why mga silingan namong born again kusog manaway namo. Shame on you dapat kang ilisan.”
“Ang pari tawo ra parehas nato.. kitang tanang makasasala.. wa lang tingali maagwanta sa pari kay basin badlungon sad kaayo ang maong bata. ayaw ninyo hukmi sa ingon ang mga pari kay mga tawo ra pod na cla, may kahuyangan,” Ssuj Dolce Amore said.
Moreover, Frank Daniel uttered, “You know that priest from Noli Me Tangere who assaulted/killed a minor? (not Padre Damaso). I couldn’t imagine it would happen in real life.”
