CEBU CITY, Philippines – Police will be monitoring concerts and other huge events on Valentine’s Day on Thursday, February 14, 2019, to prevent the entry of contraband items such as prohibited party drugs.
Chief Superintendent Debold Sinas, director of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7), said he has directed all chiefs of police stations in Cebu to deploy law enforcers not only around big events but also inside.
“This time, I told them kung naay mga big event. Mga concerts. We insist that the police should be inside. Dili lang duha or tulo or upat. Kung pwede napulo… just to prevent that incident from happening again,” said Sinas.
