Duran, 3 others make round of 16 in Toto 9-ball

EDWARDO Duran, Oliver Mendoza, Junmark Alegado and Genesis Ouano became the penultimate qualifiers for the round of 16 sudden death finals after the demolished different rivals on Friday in the 2nd Boss Toto 9-Ball tournament at the Boss Toto Billiard Hall at the Cebu City South Bus Terminal.
Duran made his way into the magic 16 with a 5-3 victory over Joel Malaki, while Mendoza blasted Allan Milan via the same score.
Alegado, for his part, scored a thrilling 5-4 win over Jimmy Acuna, while Ouano frustrated re-entrant and former champion Sean Mark Malayan, 5-3, in their race-to-five game.
