CEBU CITY, Philippines — A woman was shot dead by still unidentified assailants in broad daylight on Saturday, March 23, at Sitio Upper River Side, Barangay Dumlog, Talisay City.
Police identified the fatality as Frelyn Delarita Agbon, who was 44 years old.
Agbon was declared dead on the spot.
Police from the Talisay City Police Station are now in the area to investigate the shooting incident, and to determine any possible motive behind Agbon’s killing.
Initial findings showed that Agbon was shot past 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Talisay police said. /elb
