A mall can be more than just a simple place for you to shop, dine or hangout. It can be a place to raise social awareness, a venue for fundraising event, a space for health and wellness.
As malls along with offices and establishments turn off their lights to participate in the annual Earth Hour on March 30, consider doing or participating in the following activities inside your favorite mall.
ACOUSTIC SESSION
It’s Saturday night. Leave your worries away and find a spot to listen to some good acoustic music. Enjoy this moment with a friend or two.
POETRY NIGHT
It’s National Literature Month in April but you might not want to wait for next month before you wax poetic lines from your favorite writers or read an original compositions. Check out if mall schedules if they have this activity in their line up.
SHOPPING
This might be a bit of a challenge but might be worth the shot if only for the experience. Shop in the dark — well, you know it’s not completely dark — and see for yourself how this goes!
MASSAGE
Dim rooms, soothing music and scented oils… the recipe for a relaxing night. Malls are one-stop shops so if you do not want to join the crowd, then find a spa or massage center inside the mall. It is one of the best things to do at the end of the day.
For 60 minutes, there are several things that you can do inside the mall for your entertainment and relaxation. Feel free to add more suggestions to this list so we know how you are planning to observe Earth Hour.
