Cebu City, Philippines—Macki’s Carwash hacked out an 84-80 win over BSD/Celltop to gain a share of the lead in the standings of the Barangay Labangon Basketball Association 2019 First Conference on Friday night, March 29, 2019, at the Labangon Gym.
Macki’s trailed early but got their bearings back in the second half to get the win, their fifth in six games, to give them a tie at the top with Fatima CRV, which also won over Hanchoi on Friday, 93-92.
Former Cebu Doctors’ University standout Abe Galinato splashed in 26 points for Macki’s while Lito Navarra added 19 markers.
Five different players scored in double-figures for Fatima led by the 16 points each of Viking Rollon and Jopil Tejada. Nino Malicay put up 12 markers. /bmjo
