Sinas said that the organizations such as the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) can conduct their own investigation on the operation.

In fact, some have already checked if the search warrants for the operation were legitimate and if there were actions done contrary to the operations of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

However Sinas said that the PNP will only share documents with the Commission on Elections if the higher authorities will direct them to.

Sinas also said that the PNP will be filing charges those who were arrested during the Synchronized Enhanced Monitoring of Police Operations (SEMPO) or Oplan Sauron held last March 28 to March 30.

Meanwhile, Sinas said he appreciates the support that Senator Panfilo Lacson has given  the PNP amidst the controversy of the killing of 14 farmers.

“We’re happy that the senator understands and supports our efforts,” said Sinas.
