CEBU CITY, Philippines – A Wednesday afternoon fire damaged a house made of light materials in Sitio Purok Sampaguita, Barangay Looc, Lapu-Lapu City.
Fire Officer 3 (FO3) Johnmer Lesiges of the Lapu-Lapu City Fire Department said that the alarm was received at around 3 p.m. today, April 3, and was placed under control after seven minutes. The fire was totally put out at around 3:30 p.m.
Damage to property was pegged at P8, 000.
Lesiges said that no casualties were reported during the fire incident.
Fire investigators are yet to determine the cause of the fire as of this writing./dcb
