Cebu City, Philippines — Batch 2009 authored a 90-85 victory over Batch 2011 in the 12th Damazo Cup basketball tournament last weekend at the Labangon Gym.
Jake Emerson Diamante carried 2009 to the win with an incredible performance of 43 points, 12 rebounds and four assists.
In other games, 1995 defeated 1999, 95-76, behind the 21 points, three boards, two assists and two blocks of Clint Gonzaga.
Batch 2002 also bested 2004, 70-60, as JR Villaplaza paced the winning side with 16 points.
1994 was also victorious, claiming a win over 1989, 120-91.
The 21 points of Lester Dajao led Batch 1994.
Meanwhile, 2010 scored a 67-57 win over 2000; Batch 1986 triumphed over 1992, 92-75 while 2003 won over 2001, 68-62. /bmjo
