CEBU CITY, Philippines — Two minors were allegedly raped by another minor and his adult friend during a drinking session in a southern barangay in Cebu City at past 3 a.m. on Sunday, April 7.
According to the Cebu City police, the victims, who are 13 and 14 year old girls were allegedly raped by their friend, a 15-year-old boy and the minor suspect’s cousin, a 22-year-old man.
Police said that the girls, who were in a drinking session with boy-suspect and the boy’s cousin, were allegedly raped by the boy and his cousin after the girls got drunk.
Police also said that barangay tanods patrolling the area found the girls, who reported the alleged rape to them and the tanods, in turn, brought the victims to the police.
The girls were then brought to the hospital at the Vicente Sotto Medical Memorial Center Pink Room where they would be assessed and treated.
Police are still conducting a manhunt operation against the boy and his cousin./dbs
