Cebu City, Philippines — Another reason why Cebuanos should look forward to the upcoming film, “Last Fool Show” is the appearance of Cebuana beauty queen Kris Tiffany Janson.

The 29-year-old beauty queen, who is Miss Cebu 2009, confirmed to Cebu Daily News Digital that this will be her first movie.

“It is a very small role and she is the opposite of Arci (Muñoz) but it is a nice twist in the movie so that is why everyone must watch to understand why,” she said.

She did not audition for this film but her manager called her that a character who is described as a beauty queen is needed for the film.

Currently, Janson is co-managed by Cornerstone Entertainment Inc., a talent management who also manages stars like Kris Aquino, Sam Milby, Julia Montes, Yeng Constantino, Rachelle Ann Go, KZ Tandingan, Empoy Marquez, and Alessandra de Rossi.

“Last Fool Show” is headlined by Kapamilya stars Arci Muñoz and JM de Guzman under Star Cinema, N2, and Emba Productions.

The film is directed by Eduardo Roy Jr. and will open in Philippine cinemas on April 10, 2019.

Challenging scene

Janson admitted that she was a bit shy joining the film since it has a powerhouse cast.

One of the challenging scenes she had was a confrontation involving Muñoz, De Guzman, and Victor Silayan.

“I was shy but they are such good actors and they helped me get through that scene,” Janson revealed.

Janson won Miss Cebu 2009 and joined Binibining Pilipinas 2014. She took home the Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014 title.

She represented the country in Miss Intercontinental 2014 held in Magdeburg, Germany, where she finished second runner-up.

“It is different in a way in terms of working hours and works itself but I am just enjoying everything,” when asked how was the transition from pageantry and working on screen.

Janson also had her first television appearance in ABS-CBN’s series, “Wildflower” in 2017 starred by Maja Salvador, Joseph Marco, RK Bagatsing, and Vin Abrenica.

With her first film, is she now ready to work full time on show business industry?

“Not really. But who am I to decline offers? When my manager would call me to pitch in and I feel confident that I can do it and do it well, I say yes. But I am mainly focused on tv commercials and hosting,” she said. /bmjo
