Cebu City, Philippines — Aside from allegedly being a drug protector, Lawaan III barangay councilor Bimbo Ramos’ house also served as a storage area for illegal drugs.
Police Captain Alejandro Batobalonos, chief of the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO), said they received reports that Ramos is involved in the illegal drugs trade.
“We’ve been receiving reports before already that he is into illegal drugs, and a drug coddler. It took us over one month to monitor his activities and have them validate,” said Batobalonos.
He said Ramos apparently allowed several drug personalities to use his house in Barangay Lawaan III, Talisay City as a drug warehouse.
“Drug personalities drop their supply in his house which is located in a very secluded portion of the village,” said Batobalonos.
He added that Ramos also has ties with suspected drug lord Steve Go, who was killed inside the Mandaue City Jail in June 2018.

They confiscated five large packs of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, amounting to P3.4 million, and an airgun rifle reportedly an heirloom.
Ramos is now detained in the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO). He denied being involved in illegal drugs. /bmjo
