This was the reason of the 42-year-old suspect for the gruesome killing of Christine Lee Silawan.
“He confessed that he was the one who killed (Silawan). He made an extra-judicial confession,” said Police Brigadier General Debold Sinas, director of Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO -7).
“He said he dupes young girls (into having sexual relationship with him),” Sinas added.

Sinas said that the suspect is included in the drugs watchlist of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.
“He was a drug pusher and a drug user whose name is included in the drug watchlist,” Sinas said.

The police arrested the suspect for the illegal possession of firearms in his residence in Barangay Bankal, where he also lives with his live-in partner and five children, on Tuesday, April 9.
Sinas said police went to the suspect’s house to interrogate him about his involvement in Silawan’s murder “but when we conducted a search and frisk in his house, we found a caliber .45 pistol.” /dcb
