Mandaue Cops to public: Help us identify murdered man dumped in Casili

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Police are turning to the public for help in identifying an unidentified man, who was murdered and dumped in Barangay Casili, Mandaue City on April 19.

Corporal Ryan Jamada, Canduman Police Precinct investigator on the case, called on the public to coordinate with the police especially those who have missing relatives because perhaps this person could be their missing kin.

The unidentified man was found by a habal-habal (motorcycle-for-hire) driver sprawled face down at the side of the road at past 11 pm. on April 19.

The man has several gunshot wounds in his body and a plastic bag was placed over his head, which also had a wound.

Jamada described the unidentified dead man as between 30 and 35 years old, 5’5 in height, medium built body, and he was wearing a white T-shirt and dark blue pants.

Jamada said that they believed that the victim was salvaged or killed elsewhere and dumped in the barangay. | dbs
