Cebu City, Philippines—Prolific wingman Jake Diamante scored 23 points to lead Batch 2009 past 2010, 72-69, in the 2019 Damazo Cup on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at the Bulacao Gym.
Diamante also added two rebounds and two steals across his name in the inter-alumni tournament of the University of San Jose-Recoletos.
In other results, 2002 defeated 2000, 68-64, behind Reil Tan’s 16 markers while 2007 bested 2011, 68-63, as Henjie Cabo went off for 20 points.
1995 also clobbered 1994, 84-66, behind Joy Olofernes’ double-double of 14 points and 10 boards, while 2001 beat 2004, 69-59, behind Elwin Abellana’s 12-point output.
