CEBU CITY, Philippines – The Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7) is a step closer to determine whether the man who was shot dead in Quezon City is indeed self-confessed drug lord, Franz Sabalones.
Director Brigadier General Debold Sinas, chief of PRO-7, said they are trying to obtain an electronic copy of the fingerprint of Sabalones from the records of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in San Fernando town.
Sabalones is from the town of San Fernando, located 41 kilometres from Cebu City.
Sinas said they will compare Sabalones’ fingerprint record from the Comelec with the post mortem fingerprint recorded in Manila.

“Kun mapirmahan nako tong request, pwede na siguro mi magcompare… just to determine kun ang katong namatay didto, mao gyud si Franz Sabalones,” said Sinas in a press conference held Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
