Cebu North General Hospital celebrates its 17th year with another milestone as it relaunches its Chemical Dependents Control and Rehabilitation Center (CDCare).
Cebu North General Hospital’s CDCare is the first private hospital-based Chemical Dependents Control and Rehab Center in the Visayas and Mindanao.
The hospital established CDCare, a decade ago, but with the increasing number of drug dependents and users today, it sees this development as an opportunity to relaunch it.
CDCare features a 48-bed facility with amenities such as a library, multi-purpose halls, detoxification rooms, and many more. It also has accommodation such as private, semi-private and pay wardrooms.
CDCare offers a comprehensive program which aims to address the problems of patients with a continuum of care and focus on the individual.
The facility also has a team of well-rounded psychiatrists, psychologist, and nurses, to reform drug offenders and members of society that needs mental aid.
“Our main gold of CDcare is to provide treatment to chemical dependents and address co-morbidities and drug diagnosis with a comprehensive program that believes in biopsychosocial and spiritual approach,” said Manual Delos Santos, CDCare Program Director.
It also boasts its comprehensive and holistic programs for the patients that is recognized and accredited by the Department of Health (DOH).
According to Delos Santos, they envision the center to be able to accommodate more psychiatric patients since they aim to be the standard bearer of integrated health.
NorthGen, which is situated near neighboring mountain barangays make it an ideal stress-free environment where patients can experience peace while they recuperate with fewer stressors and triggers.
CDCare NorthGen is located at Kauswagan Drive, Barangay Talamban, Cebu City.
