MANILA, Philippines – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested the uploader of a series of video entitled “Totoong Narcolist,” an official of the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) said Thursday.

DOJ’s Office of the Cybercrime Officer-In-Charge Atty. Charito Zamora said the uploader, not Bikoy, was arrested by the NBI.

Bikoy is the hooded narrator in the “Totoong Narcolist” video. It is a series of videos accusing the President and his immediate family of involvement in illegal drug trade.

“The uploader was arrested for cyber libel and not Bikoy himself,” Navarro said. The same information was confirmed by Justice Undersecretary Markk Perete.

Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, meanwhile said they were still waiting for the NBI’s report.

“Search warrant was issued and served. We’ll find out what happened during the search,” Guevarra said. /cbb
