Cebu City, Philippines—San Francisco ended its elimination round campaign with a flurry of wins that allowed them to grab the second seed in the 9th Congressman Red Durano Cup basketball tournament.
San Francisco beat Poro, 55-39, in its last elimination round game to finish the round with an 8-2 win-record and end up tied with Compostela and Danao City.
To settle the three-way tie, the records of the teams from the game involving all three were taken into consideration.
This resulted in San Francisco taking the second seed after it won over both Compostela and Danao. Compostela then took the third seed after it had a 1-1 record against the other two while Danao grabbed the fourth seed after it failed to get a win against either team.
