Cebu City, Philippines—Daxnavs and SAGBAF had successful debuts at the start of the Cebu United Ballers Association Summer League 2019 last Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the Capitol Parish Gym.
Daxnavs erased a 14-point halftime deficit to stun Team Baso, 76-74.
Daxnavs trailed 36-50 at halftime before turning it up in the second half behind the scoring of RJ Acha who tallied a game-high 19 points.
Four others reached double figures in scoring for Daxnavs.
In the day’s other game, SAGBAF defeated Ragent BP, 67-59, behind a balanced offensive led by Raymund Jimenez’s 13 points and Jason Chan’s 10
