Police in hot pursuit of Argao murder suspect

CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES – The Argao Police Station are now in pursuit of the unknown assailant that murdered a 32-year-old man from Barangay Talaga, Argao town in southern Cebu on Friday, May 17.

Police Staff Sergeant Howard Maynopas, desk officer of the Argao Police Station, told CDN Digital that units from their station are conducting investigation to identify the murderer of Ike Birondo Duhilag, who was shot and killed on May 17.

He said they are looking into the possible motive of the suspect in killing Duhilag.

Duhilag was reportedly on his way home to Barangay Talaga when he was shot by an unidentified suspect using an unknown firearm.

Duhilag was hit three times: on the chest, head and left hand.

The suspect immediately fled the scene after committing the crime.

Duhilag was declared dead on arrival at the Isidro C. Kintanar Memorial Hospital. / celr
