UPDATED: A 73-year old American is now being detained at the Lapu-Lapu Police Headquarters after a one .40 caliber was confiscated from him at the Mactan airport.
The US citizen who was bound for California via South Korea missed his 12:20 a.m. flight. He was with his wife at the time of the incident.
