THIS summer, Sage Prep Schoolhouse, in partnership with Banilad Science Club headed by Mr. Masao Ishihara, brings you a specialized Science experience never experienced before in Cebu.
Sage is offering a short-term program in April and May for students from 8 to 16 years old. The program is dubbed as Science Exploration: Coding Skills via Scratch.
Scratch is a software programming language developed by MIT and used by computer science students of Harvard University and UC Berkeley.
Participants will be exposed to the latest technologies including sensors, actuators and robots. Advanced geometry and Science will be pre-viewed, while participants will experience how to integrate artistic ideas with technology.
Trainer will be Shiori Kawahara, a trained Scratch teacher who currently teaches at the University of Fukuoka in Japan.
