A Papua New Guinea national was stabbed while two of his compratiots were detained for allegedly creating trouble in a restaurant in barangay Talamban, Cebu City.
Elizah Norman, 23; Pilol Kuman, 23; Andi Takon, 24; and Mulea Opa Horns, 26, could be charged for malicious mischief, said police.
Horns was stabbed in the body by a group of men who fought back when the suspects created trouble in BBQ Boss past 6 a.m. yesterday.
Police said the four men were customers in the restaurant when the foreigners became rowdy, a restaurant worker who asked not to be named said.
‘Flasher’
Police said trouble broke out when one of the PNG nationals allegedly flashed his private parts to a female customer prompting her boyfriend to confront him.
The foreigners went berserk and started breaking drinking glasses.
This irked the restaurant’s other customers who stood up and ganged up on the four foreigners.
Horns was later found with a stab wound.
Police said two of the foreigners — Norman and Horns — allegedly tried to flee but they caught up with them after a brief chase.
Takon was arrested after he was found hiding inside the restaurant’s toilet.
