Hog’s Breath still spotless

THE HOG’S Breath Café Razorbacks remained undefeated in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup as they torched Wang’s Basketball, 109-93, yesterday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Paul Sanga and Jansen Rios helped the Razorbacks cruise to their third win in a row with 17 points each.

So proficient was the Razorbacks’ offense that they had six players score in double-figures with Kevin Racal adding 15 points and Jose Rizal University’s Philip Paniamogan chipping in 14. Alexander Austria and Jonathan Belorio added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Wang’s, which fell to a 1-3 (win-loss) record, got 20 points from Michael Juico.

In the second game, the Cagayan Valley Rising Suns bounced back from their painful loss to Hog’s Breath in their last game with an 84-54 drubbing of the inconsistent Boracay Rum Waves.

The Suns were dealt their first loss of the season last time out, 78-82, in a game wherein they were leading by 13 points with five minutes left in the final canto.

The win pushed Cagayan up the standings with their fifth win in six games while Boracay Rum suffered their third loss in five outings.
